Seventy female students belonging to the Leading Graduate School 3rograms throughout Japan gathered with professional women who have been playing an active role in different fields.
Yukari Tominaga, Vice President and Executive Officer, Hitachi Solutions, Ltd., who received the first executive officer position in Hitachi Group, gave a powerful keynote speech. Students were impressed by her dedicated attitude towards life, which helped us to reduce the unique worries and concerns that women have about going out into society with a doctorate.
At the workshops, all students formed groups and shared and discussed about visions of ideal future. Each group gave a presentation about the career paths to pursue after graduation. We got lots of advice with professional women how to fulfill one’s dreams.
