2018年12月4日に一橋講堂で開催された「博士課程教育リーディングプログラム フォーラム2018」（主催：東京工業大学、一橋大学）において、本学PBTSチームのWater Recycling Team（4期生）が、学生発表のセッション『社会に新しい価値を実装する』でファイナリストに選ばれました。発表タイトルは“Greywater recycling for non-potable uses – A practice toward sustainable water resources”で、発表の前段階から産業界の方々からいただいた様々な視点やご意見をもとに、内容をブラッシュアップさせていきました。キャンパスの中だけでは聞くことのできないアイデアがたくさん溢れており、学生たちには知見を深める機会となりました。この経験をチーム研究に活かし、さらに完成度を高めていってほしいと思います。

It has been fantastic to get to know a large number of smart and fun people in different parts of the Leading program. It was a great opportunity for our team to review what is our strength and weakness, how to bring our idea closer to the users and how to keep the project sustainable. I appreciate the kind and valuable comments during the preparation session mentors from Leave a Nest., and the inspired discussion with Mr. Dan Maki from Marubeni Corporation and Ms. Hiroko Ohno from HOUSE FOODS GROUP INC. so that we could introduce our idea confidently to the committees and other participants. Although we were not the winner of the competition but having chance to work with talented individuals is already a huge reward to our team.
