28.03.2016 Update
Science has shined a light on global systems using the tools of universality, objectivity and logicality. For scientific results to be truly useful in society, an understanding of diverse engineering methods to integrate and design mechanisms that have undergone precise scientific analysis is crucial. But that alone is not enough. When a problem arises in society or everyday life, we have to understand that situation from our common human perspective, seeing ourselves in the other people affected. After understanding these things, we will be able to create engineering methods that allow us to find real solutions to problems.
