Program Overview
Program Title Fostering of Advanced Female Scientists at Ochanomizu University: Be the Next Marie Curie!
Eligibility This program is available to master's students of Graduate School of Humanities and Sciences department.
Overview Students will be sent to Bergische Wuppertal University. These study-abroad students are selected through a process that includes an application review, interview, and examination by the university president. Participants undergo careful preliminary training, including language training, and are given lessons in basic self-expression and general information that develops international perspectives, such as training in giving presentations, crisis-management training, and lectures on cross-cultural understanding.

1. One-semester (four months) short-term study-abroad program (generally for master’s program students)

Purpose To cultivate people who can be active in the international arena

1. Produce numerous female scientists
2. Build a three-step model of human resource cultivation and disseminate that model both inside and outside of the university
