2017 Special Practice in Global Science & Technology (Advanced Equipment) will open.
Special Practice in Global Science & Technology Ⅲ is conducted by teachers in Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
This program welcomes the participation not only of students in the Leading Program but also those in the master and doctoral programs.

    Separate and purify from mixture by recycling preparative HPLC.
  • Wed. August 9, 10:00-16:00

    Analysis of spectroscopic properties by automated fluorescence polarization assay instrument.
  • Thu. August 10, 10:00-16:00
    Science Building 1, Room 422 by Toshihiro Kondo
    Observe phase transition behavior by DSC with temperature controlled stereo microscope system.
  • Thu. August 17, 10:00-16:00
    Science Building 1, Room 339 by Kyoko Aikawa
    Detection and quantitative analysis of cell surface and intracellular materials. Observe the change over time for activity and structure of biological components.

    Analysis by polarization-modulation infrared reflection-absorption spectroscopy.

Recycling preparative HPLC, Ultra-high precision electronic balance, Automated fluorescence polarization assay instrument, Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), Microscope, Scanning electron microscope (osmium coater), Multi-mode Microplate Reader, Polarization-modulation infrared reflection-absorption spectroscopy

    Notebook, Writing utensils, Safety glasses, Lab coat

  • Preparation before Class
    Make sure to understand the basics of chromatography, fluorescence, and polarization.

  • Submission of report
    will be informed in the class

    Each class starts at 10:00 am and has 3 periods of practice including lunch time properly.
