The
objectives of our program is to seek comprehensive, in-depth knowledge
and insight (exploration) and to promote research cooperation as well
as exchanges of achievements based on mutual understanding (dialogue),
thereby fostering and producing young researchers and specialists in
various fields, who will make female leaders with a global perspective
in the future generation. This program aims at@ in particular
establishing gJapanese Studies in a Global Perspectiveh as a new
cultural foundation with an international perspective by taking a
cross-disciplinary approach to the various fields of study (namely,
philosophy, history, ethics, religious studies, literature, cultural
studies, music, costume aesthetics, and so on) on which we base our two
academic majors, and transmitting this new area of study from Asia to
the rest of the world. It will naturally be expected that the
program, organically coupled with the gender research and education
that our university have been developing thus far, plans to foster
capable young leaders and promote new forms of international
cooperation as well as cultural exchange in order to realize
international communities with true gender-equality.

can convey the idea of cultural foundation with an international
perspective, using gJapanese Studies in a Global Perspectiveh as an
educational and research base in Asia.
|
4. To lead the future research
trends that will value diversity, we provide thorough instruction to
students with implementation of Minor System.
|
5. By setting up gStudies of the
Resources for Gender Equalityh and gCultural Management Studiesh as
minor programs, we foster the human resources capable of contributing
to the realization of international communities with gender equality
and the specialists such as curators, the experts that are not yet
